Until I was about 12, I didn't really have a music taste at all. I would listen to various stuff, but it was all crappy stuff and I never listened to the radio so I had no idea about the new music that people were talking about. But then some of my friends liked The Beatles, and so did my dad and my granddad, and I realised that old music was just as 'in' as the new music that people talked about, so I kind of realised that it's not about what's 'in', it's about what YOU like. I love The Beatles now, along with all the other stuff I like - I don't have to stick with a particular music taste, I like things that are pop-punk, rock, screamo, pop, folk etc, and you should never feel ashamed of your music taste or anything about you, because no one elses opinion matters :')
